Responsible Use

Tools to keep betting in proportion, enforced by the agent, not just the screen.

Tools in your settings

  • Deposit limit: a cap on how much you can add to your private balance per day, week or month.
  • Loss limit: once your net losses in a period reach the limit, new bets are blocked until it resets.
  • Cooldown: pause betting for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. You can still sell and withdraw.
  • Self-exclusion: block new bets for 6 months, 1 year or permanently. It cannot be undone early.

These limits are enforced by the Offbook Agent when it processes each request, not only by the app, so they can’t be bypassed by using a different device or interface. Raising a limit takes effect after 24 hours; lowering one takes effect immediately.

Signs to watch for

  • Betting more than you planned, or more than you can afford to lose
  • Chasing losses with bigger bets
  • Borrowing money or selling things to keep betting
  • Betting affecting your sleep, work, relationships or mood

Getting help

If betting stops feeling like entertainment, set a cooldown or self-exclusion now and talk to someone you trust. Free, confidential support services for problem gambling exist in most countries; a local health service can point you to one.
